Asparagus and Asian chives Strata

Here’s something you can creative, simple, quick and delicious meal for one using food in the pantry and fridge. You can have it for breakfast, lunch, snacks, and anytime of the day. No hassle. 

Most ingredients you would have it make use of your culinary skill and make food vibrant, alive when you are stuck in the house. Also, to cheer yourself up. Be creative!!!!


100 g asparagus, cut into bite size
A handful of Asian chives, wash and dry
1 egg, lightly beaten
25 ml custard
25 ml milk
Granada Parmesan cheese grated
Chili flakes
Salt and pepper


Preheat oven 180 degrees C. Beat egg lightly with milk and custard. Season with salt and pepper. Heat a small wok with oil for 2 minutes. Add asparagus fry for 2 minutes, add chives for 1 minutes.

Next pour the egg mixture onto the vegetables and sprinkle cheese and chili flakes. Cooked for 3 minutes. Then transfer to the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes until slight brown and cooked through.
