Blueberry pineapple cheese pie

A friend bought me a caramelised pineapple pie. I love it after eating it. As I sweet tooth person, I went to look for it and were disappointed that it’s sold out. I did browse for pineapple pie recipe after looking at twenty recipes. I decided to try make my own.

Though it doesn’t look like the shops that sell them. It’s my adventurous and exploring skill through remembering the taste. Perhaps not much like the one my friend gave but I am glad I tried it. Will perfect it when I have practice making it a couple of time.

This is my quick, cheat and experiment in making my own by adding blueberries using cheese and bought puff pastry. The taste is great, delicious and certainly did enjoy it. Let’s make and bake it!!!

Ingredients

1 small can of pineapple rings (6 pieces)
1 punnet of blueberry
1 pkt of puff pastry
1 pkt of Kraft cheese slices
Oil spray for spraying pastry

Method

Preheat the oven to 200ºC. Remove the pineapple from the tin, place on a paper towel to dry a bit. Use a bowl cut the pastry. Then place in a tray lined with baking paper; make some room to put all pastry. Bake in oven for 10-15 minutes until pastry puff up lightly brown.

Remove pastry from oven. Gently cut the centre of the pastry and push the cut pastry top down. Repeat with the remaining pastry. Then push and slide in the pineapple each into the pastry mould, scatter some blueberry and top with a piece of cheese. Spray oil on the pastry. Bake a further 10-15 minutes or until cheese melted on top Serve it with ice cream or just eat on its own.
