Found this picture again and I decided to post it. You can use this sauce to accompanied your ham. These past few years I had not make ham, as my sister had taken over and so too turkey by my brother-in-law. He had weber BBQ set.
At least I don’t have to stress getting all these ingredients and cooking them. I can concern only making dessert. Well, I needed a good rest. But still needed to make sauces. I am glad to make them. Here’s the sauce that goes well with ham, turkey and roast pork. Let’s get the sauce ready!!!
Ingredients
100 g whole cranberry sauce in a jar
1/2 lemon, juiced
3 garlic cloves, minced
60ml maple syrup
60ml white vinegar
60ml cola
2 Tsp finely chopped rosemary
2 Tsp hot paprika
2 Tsp sweet paprika
2 Tsp cumin
2 Tsp ground cinnamon
1 Tbs olive oil
125 ml bourbon whiskey
275 g jellied cranberry sauce
Method
Put oil in a medium pot on medium heat, and add garlic cook for about 20 seconds. Add in spices, cook for about 15 seconds. Next ad in lemon juice, vinegar, cola, maple syrup and bourbon whiskey. Stir to mix well and lower heat. Break up the jellied cranberry and add into pot with cranberry sauce. Now add in chopped rosemary. Stir until combined and cook to sauce consistency. Serve it as accompaniment to ham, turkey or roast pork.
