Shin ram yun gyoza pork balls fried eggs and vegetables noodles soup

Meal for one again. My favourite noodles are on sale: Sin ram yun, and gyoza. I have added leftovers fried eggs, green beans and buk choy to make it a complete healthy comforting meal to eat in raining cold day.

“Originating from Chinese cuisine, gyoza has become a popular Japanese side dish or snack that provides a balance of protein, fiber, and vitamins from the pork and vegetables, while ginger and garlic offer anti-inflammatory and immune-boosting benefits. The main differences between gyoza and traditional dumplings are their shape, wrappers, and cooking methods. Gyoza wrappers are thin, allowing for a crunchy texture when pan-fried, while steamed dumplings are healthier due to less oil usage. It’s essential to eat all forms in moderation.”

Today cooking in a pot and glad to eat shin ram yun, gyoza and leftovers by turning it to a new created dish with pork balls. It’s super delicious because I craved for it. Let’s cook!!!

Ingredients

1 packet shin ram yun
4 gyoza dumplings
3 pork balls
leftovers: green beans, fried eggs, and buk choy
water

Method

Put enough water in a pot. Bring it to a boil. Open the shin ram yun and condiments in the packet. When water start to bubbles, add in Gyoza, noodles and condiments. Gives a stir or two.

Next place pork balls into the boiling water with noodles. Cook them for 5-6 minutes. Then place the leftovers beans, fried eggs, and buk choy to warmed up along with the cooked noodles and pork balls. Cook a further 2-3 minutes until everything is cooked and warmed up.

Using a food clippers/tong to transfer Gyoza, noodles, pork balls, fried eggs and vegetables. Then you can use a ladle to scoops the soup or just pour the soup onto the noodles and everything in it. Enjoy with a nice hot cup of green tea.

Note: Green beans are from Green bean carrot minced pork; no more minced pork and carrots only green beans. Fried eggs and buk choy from Lemon roast chicken onion eggs buk choy with rice. You can try cook them from the attached recipes. As I have new batched and got leftovers; I have added them to get rid of them in my shin ram yun noodles.

You can add any fresh vegetables of your choice. You can use vegetables gyoza dumplings. You can substitute pork balls with fish balls or use fish cakes. You can use fresh noodles: Hokkien noodles; blanch in hot water for 1-2 minutes and add to your fresh vegetables and condiments of your choices.
