Bacon egg cheese sriracha sandwich

Lazy Sunday meal with less utensil to wash. Too cold to go out to get food and there are shortages of food due to flood. I have bacon, egg, cheese and bread.

Google: “Bacon is a type of salt-cured pork made from various cuts, typically the belly or less fatty parts of the back. It is eaten as a side dish, used as a central ingredient, or as a flavouring or accent (as in bacon bits in a salad). It is the fat in the bacon that provides most of the flavour and allows it to cook up crispy, yet tender.”

“The taste of regular bacon can vary depending on the breed of the pig, its feed, how the bacon is cut, and especially the processing and curing methods. In general, bacon flavour is a combination of salty, sweet, fatty, and smoky notes—any one of which can stand out to a particular palate—making an unmistakable impact when added to a dish.”

Well, I am thankful to have food to survive. Just have to be patience and trust God will provide us as he had always. This is just a simple dinner yet it enjoyable and comforting delicious to have and it’s quick to get it cook and onto table. Let’s cook!!!

6 eggs
6 slices bread, buttered
6 bacon
6 pieces of cheese

Heat oil in a saucepan, crack three eggs onto pan. Cook 3 minutes, and season with salt and pepper or until white is set. Flip and cook further 2 to 3 minutes more, until yolk is completely set. Remove from pan onto a plate keep warm. Repeat with the remaining three eggs. You can cook the eggs to your liking.

Using the same saucepan, add a tiny drop of oil, and then put bacon in over a medium heat. When the fat starts to run out from the bacon, increase the heat and cook for 1-3 minutes on each side, depending on how crispy you like it. Remove bacon onto paper towel plate. Keep warm.

Spread butter over the bread and set two slices of bread on each plate and two cheese pieces on top and just microwave 12 seconds to melt cheese slightly. You don’t have to do if you don’t want it melt slightly. Next place two cook eggs on each bread and Sriracha for me then followed by bacon. Serve with a cup of coffee or tea. Enjoy!!!
