Raspberry papaya plum smoothie

Are we getting enough fruits in our diet? Are we going to be energetic? Or are going to innovative? These questions remind me that every day I have a fresh start of my life.

Got up feeling like I needed fruits smoothie, a healthy drink. Open my fridge to get my fruits and noticed that my last 4 pieces of papaya  isn’t looking good. Also, my thickened cream will expire in 3 days’ time. Best use it, so I decided to add it in with my raspberries and plums. Today, innovation and inventive along with a boost of energy is my fresh start. I have always love to experiment the various combination of food.

The discipline of eating or drinking healthy brings Joy and Peace to me and trust it too will bring you Joy and Peace. Wouldn’t you want a peaceful and joyful life? I would love to have them. My smoothie is flavourful, beautiful, colourful, healthy and delicious. Let’s make them as fresh start of the day!!!!

Ingredients

4 big pieces of papaya
2 plums, removed seed and cut into chucky bite
100 g raspberries, washed and dried
100 ml thickened cream
1 Tbs water (OPT)

Garnish

2 basil leaves
1 strawberry, cut a bit
chocolate sprinkles

Method

Put all the ingredients into Nutri Bullet, blend until smooth. Pour into a tall glass. Garnish with basil leaves, strawberry sitting on the rim of a tall glass and sprinkle some chocolate sprinkle. Chill for 30 minutes and then drink.

Note: You can use any fruits of your choice such as blueberries, blackberries, beetroot, strawberries, nectarines, banana and fig. Or any food such as 3 colours capsicums, broccoli, spinach, asparagus, pumpkin or celery. Instead of thickened cream you can use yoghurt and instead of water you can use orange juice.
