Have not had smoothie for a while. My sister gave me 3 pomegranates from her garden. Then strawberries and banana are on sale. Decided to make smoothie with pomegranate.
It’s a simple quick healthy drink. I often ask myself these questions: Are we getting enough fruits in our diet? Are we going to be energetic? Today, innovation and inventive along with a boost of energy is my fresh start. I have always love to experiment the various combination of food.
I want to be healthy and live till old ripe age. Whether you want to be like me or not, you can still drink this on any other days or when you feel like having smoothie. Let’s make smoothie and stay healthy. Enjoy!!!
12 strawberries, washed, dried and stems removed
2 bananas, skin removed and cut to bite size
8 Tbs yoghurt
2 Tbs water (OPT)
1 Tbs pomegranate arils
Put all the ingredients into Nutri Bullet in batches, blend until smooth. Pour into a tall glass. Garnish with some pomegranate arils. Chill for 30 minutes and then drink.
Note: You can use any fruits of your choice such as blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, plums, nectarines and figs. Or any food such as 3 colours capsicums, broccoli, spinach, asparagus, pumpkin or celery.
