Blueberry oats with blueberries puree and blueberries

Google: : Oats are a cereal commonly eaten in the form of oatmeal or rolled oats. They are mainly eaten as porridge, as an ingredient in breakfast cereals, and in baked goods (oatcakes, oat cookies, and oat bread). Over the past few decades, oats have become a very popular health food.”

“Oats are loaded with dietary fiber (containing more than many other grains) and have a range of healthy cholesterol-lowering properties and many more”. Woke up in the middle of the night, felt hungry and the only thing I can think of is oats as it’s quick and easy healthy to have at the late night. I have some blueberries left, a sachet of blueberry oat, leftover berries puree. This oat has rolled oats as well. For a change I have added almond milk in.

My midnight snacks are healthy, colourful and comforting. Let’s make them before my stomach growl like lion roar!!! Then eat and go back to sleep in heavenly peace.

Ingredients

1 sachet blueberry oat
5 Tbs rolled oats
1/2 cup almond milk
3 Tbs water
2 Tbs sugar
4 dollops of berries pureed
blueberries

Method

Combine  both oats, milk, and water in microwave save bowl. Microwave on high 30 seconds, stir to mix. Then microwave again another 30 seconds, stir to combine. Then microwave again further 30 seconds until oats are soft and cooked. Stand for 3 minutes.

Meantime, wash blueberries, bring out from fridge the puree. Add sugar and stir well. Then add blueberries and dollops puree. Eat immediately.
