Fig and watermelon smoothie

I have not had a smoothie for a while. I decided to use my last few figs, leftover thickened cream, and bought 1/4 of a watermelon on sale to make a smoothie.

“A smoothie is a nutrient-dense blended beverage made from fruits, vegetables, and a liquid base, promoting improved digestion, weight management, and boosted immunity. It serves as a convenient way to consume daily nutrients, particularly when used as a meal replacement, aiding in weight loss due to its high nutrient density and satiety. Ingredients like berries and spinach are rich in vitamins and fiber, which help stabilize blood sugar and sustain energy while enhancing mental alertness.”

“Watermelon is a hydrating, nutrient-dense summer fruit with 92% water, providing vitamins A, C, potassium, and only 46 calories per cup. It contains antioxidants like lycopene and amino acids such as citrulline, promoting heart health, muscle recovery, and improved digestion. Its high water and fiber content support hydration and gut health, while citrulline may improve blood flow and reduce muscle soreness.”

“A fig is a sweet, soft fruit from the Ficus tree, rich in dietary fiber, potassium, calcium, and antioxidants. Figs aid digestion, promote heart health, support bone density, and serve as a nutritious snack. Their high fiber content acts as a natural laxative and prebiotic, while potassium helps regulate blood pressure. Ripe figs are particularly high in protective polyphenols.”
