Today, I just wanted to try using double cream and brandy with cherries, strawberries, blueberries boozy smoothie. I only made a glass just to try it out. Also, at least I know my fruits are not wasted. I had never tried adding brandy in a smoothie.
“Yes, you can absolutely blend brandy into a fruit and double cream smoothie to create a rich, boozy dessert drink similar to a Brandy Alexander or a spiked milkshake. A boozy smoothie is a blended alcoholic beverage that combines traditional smoothie ingredients—such as frozen fruit, yogurt, juice, or ice—with spirits like rum, vodka, tequila, or wine. These refreshing, often tropical, adult drinks are typically blended until creamy and served cold, similar to a slushy or daiquiri.”
“Frozen berries, bananas, mango, pineapple, coconut milk, or yogurt are commonly used to create a thick texture.” I am changing the above mentioned of thick texture with double cream and adding 2 Tbs water to it. Let’s try out, taste and see if I like it. Got to try to see it for myself.
Ingredients
8 cherries, stems removed, pitted and cut into bite size
8 blueberries
4 strawberries, stems removed and cut into half
3 ice cubes
55 ml double cream
20 ml brandy
2 Tbs water
Method
In Nutri Bullet, put cherries, strawberries, blueberries, ice cubes, water, double cream, and brandy. Blend until smooth or desired consistency. Pour into a glass. Chill in fridge for 25 minutes. Enjoy!!!
