Bought royal gala apple and banana on sale. Got some leftover blueberries. “A smoothie is a thick, blended beverage made from raw fruits, vegetables, and a liquid base (like water, milk, or yogurt). They are nutritious, convenient meal replacements or snacks packed with vitamins, fiber, and antioxidants that aid digestion, boost energy, and support immune health, provided they avoid excessive added sugars. “
“Smoothies help increase daily fruit and vegetable intake, ensuring a high consumption of essential vitamins, minerals, and fiber. The fiber content in blended whole fruits and vegetables supports a healthy gastrointestinal system. As a meal replacement, they provide a filling, nutrient-dense option that can manage cravings and reduce calorie intake. Smoothies offer quick, easily digestible energy and necessary protein for muscle repair before or after exercise. Regular consumption of nutrient-rich smoothies helps boost immunity.”
