My sister bought me a box of shin ram yun noodles; there are 30 individual packets from Costco. Then she gave me some. Hooray!!! now I can have my favourite noodles with kim chi. The weather is so hot, don’t want to be spending time in the kitchen. Just going to have my favourite noodles with kim chi.
“Kim chi is a traditional Korean staple of salted, fermented vegetables, most famously napa cabbage, seasoned with gochugaru (chili powder), garlic, ginger and scallions. Which is spicy, tangy and savoury flavour with a slight fizz. It can boost your gut health, improving digestion, preventing constipation and can protect you from chronic disease such as colon and heart cancer. High consumption of baechu kim chi was linked to a 10% reduction in both overall abdominal obesity.”
It’s comforting, spicy and delicious. Let’s cook!!!
Ingredients
1 packet shin ram yun noodles
some kim chi
water
Method
Put the kettle on. Open the shin ram yun noodles and the condiments. Empty them into a bowl. Once the water is boiled, pour enough water into the prepared bowl.
Open the door of the microwave. Carefully carry and place the bowl with hot water, shin ram yun noodles, and condiments into the microwave. Close the microwave door and start the microwave. Microwave the noodles for 6-7 minutes.
Carefully bring out the hot bowl of noodles to the benchtop. Spoon some kimchi onto the noodles, give a couple of stirs. Serve immediately. Enjoy with a cold beer!!!
