Saw this idea from Pinterest video a few weeks ago. Can’t remember where it is now the recipe from. I decided to try it out, I know it’s very creamy, but with Christmas coming up around the corner. Why not try making it. This is trial and error. I am only making half the recipe just to try out.
I am glad to try out using my leftover condensed milk and shredded coconut. To call my own, I have added some chocolate sprinkles. It’s easy to make, and the thing is, it’s a bit messy when having to roll them while wearing gloves. It keeps slipping out of my gloves, and on top of that, the stickiness of the combined ingredients makes it harder to really make perfect round balls.
Then I must wait for the snowballs to firm up in the fridge, making my mouth drip with saliva. Well, don’t worry, it didn’t drip onto the balls. They’re delicious; let’s make them so that when nearing Christmas Day, I can make a better one and fresh.
Ingredients
160 g canned condensed milk
180 g shredded coconut
chocolate sprinkles (OPT)
Method
Add shredded coconut and condensed milk in a bowl. Mix well with a spoon until combined. Wear gloves and use a tablespoon to scoop some up onto your hand, roll them into balls. Place them on a lined tray. Sprinkles some chocolate sprinkles over some snow balls just for colour. Allow the snow balls to firm up in fridge for about 2-4 hours. When it had firmed up, store them in an airtight container in fridge until ready to eat or as decorations for cake.
