Lunch for one
Bought spam meat on sale. Today lunch is just spam, baby spinach, cheese on buttered bread. I must have chili sauce. This could be kids lunch or pack for their lunch. Of course, you can add any ingredients your kids love to have spam meat with. You can toast your bread. Do eat in moderation; it’s not a healthy meat. If you are in a hurry, then cook spam meat.
Google: “Spam is a brand of processed canned pork and ham made by Hormel Foods Corporation, an American multinational food processing company. It was introduced in the United States in 1937 and gained popularity worldwide after its use during World War II. It comprises no Vitamin C or A. It has less calcium than real meat (like chicken breasts or turkey breasts that possess almost double of it). Spam is high in sodium and can potentially cause heart issues and elevated blood pressure.”
Once in a while, I would eat them and when they are on sale. This simple, quick and tasty to me; even though I know eating too much is no good for heart. Let’s cook!!!

Ingredients
1 canned spam meat
2 slices of bread of your choice
a slice of cheese of your choice
baby spinach
butter or margarine or pro activ spread
chili sauce or tomato sauce
oil
Method
Open the spam meat canned. Using a fork to remove from the canned. Sliced about 1/4 ” thickness. Line a plate with paper towel. Heat oil in a pan on medium heat. Add the slices spam meat in. Don’t overcrowd them; if you have a small pan. Needed space to flip over to the other sides. Cook until slightly brown on one side and then flip over.
Meantime, spread butter onto two slices of bread. Place some baby spinach on top followed by a slice of cheese. Once done cooking spam meat; place two slices on top. Squirt enough chili sauce on top. Then place the second buttered bread on top. Serve with a cup of coffee. Enjoy it in the sun at the backyard!!!
