Sausage on bread two ways – brunch

What makes the best filing for bread?

Google: “Condiments, pickles, fresh produce, and deli meats & proteins. For fresh produce to prevent a soggy bread, precooked pumpkin, zucchini, eggplant or mushrooms – they will release water.”

I had leftover takeaway small tub of herb mayonnaise from my dinner with my sister. Best use it before it gone bad. Bought lettuces, mushrooms, berries and walnuts. Going to use the square plate my cousin bought for me.

Google: “Brunch is a meal, sometimes accompanied by alcoholic drinks. Brunch is typically served between the time 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. It is generally understood to be somewhere within the late morning. A typical brunch menu has a mix of great breakfast and lunch treats and refreshing drinks.”

Is brunch a thing people do on weekend? Big brekkies, fluffy pancakes, smashed avocado and with best coffee: if there’s one thing we know how to do on weekend, it’s brunch. Seems to be practically a national pastime.” For me, brunch should be impressive, affordable, and creative packed with colour, crunch, creaminess, freshness, healthy, spiciness and freshness: all the makings of a decadent flavourful taste in my mouth and giving my stomach satisfaction. Ingredients

8 blueberries
8 slices mushrooms
4 cos lettuce leaves
3 strawberries
2 slices of bread
2 sausages
walnut kernels
chili sauce
herb mayonnaise (leftover)
margarine, plus extra to spread on bread
oil

Method

Bring sausages out to room temperature. Once thawed, prick with fork all around the sausages. Now heat up saucepan on medium high, add 1 Tbs margarine let it melt about 1 minute, add oil in. Once hot, place sausages in and cook turning all around until cooked and it had turned slightly crispy brown. Removed to a paper line plate.

Spread some margarine over both bread and place diagonally on the plate. Next place 2 lettuce leaves diagonally on each bread. Followed by mushrooms and sausages, squirt some chili sauce on one sausage and the other sausage spoon the leftover herb mayonnaise.

Garnish 2 strawberries on opposite corner of plate and 1 in the middle. Opposite middle place blueberries. The other corner place some walnut kernels opposite each. Enjoy my brunch in the backyard in the sun with a glass of white wine.
