Strawberry watermelon raspberry fizzy iced

Strawberries are so expensive, I love my berries, I just bought one punnet and as I were heading toward the cashier. This quarter watermelon caught my eyes, is not really cheap either. Well, I needed fruits intake. Yes, it’s too cold to have ice in Winter. Two days ago, I had some ice cubed left, best get rid so I have freezer space.

Google: “Strawberry, (genus Fragaria), genus of more than 20 species of flowering plants in the rose family (Rosaceae) and their edible fruit. Strawberries are native to the temperate regions of the Northern Hemisphere, and cultivated varieties are widely grown throughout the world. The fruits are rich in vitamin C and are commonly eaten fresh as a dessert fruit, are used as a pastry or pie filling, and may be preserved in many ways. Strawberry shortcake—made of fresh strawberries, sponge cake, and whipped cream—is a traditional American dessert.”

Google: “Watermelon is rich in an amino acid called citrulline that may help move blood through your body and can lower your blood pressure. Your heart also enjoys the perks of all the lycopene watermelon contains. Studies show that it may lower your risk of heart attacks. Watermelon is a good source of lycopene, an antioxidant that has been shown to help reduce belly fat. Watermelon is a natural diuretic which helps increase the flow of urine, but does not strain the kidneys (unlike alcohol and caffeine). Watermelon helps the liver process ammonia (waste from protein digestion) which eases strain on the kidneys while getting rid of excess fluids.”

I know drinking this fizzy drink too much is not good for health. Once awhile is ok and in moderation. I am glad to experiment and explore the mixture of fruits with fizzy cordial. Its sure taste tangy sweet, cooling refreshing to serve any any meal. Let’s make it with ice for a change!!!
