With leftover mango, and papaya from my dad who loves papaya and leftover apples, making another creative great combination smoothie. Drink in moderation. I am crazy for puree fruits and it helps me to be full for longer. I am also making use of my Nutri Bullet.
Google: “A smoothie is a beverage made by puréeing ingredients in a blender. A smoothie commonly has a liquid base, such as fruit juice or milk, yogurt or ice cream. Other ingredients may be added, including fruits, vegetables, non-dairy milk, crushed ice, whey powder or nutritional supplements.
“One of the benefits of drinking smoothies for breakfast is that they can provide a source of energy and protein. Research studies have found that higher protein intake makes people feel fuller and reduces food cravings later in the day. Proteins are complex molecules that take longer to break down than carbohydrates, so they provide longer-lasting energy”.
Google: “The papaya, papaw, or pawpaw is the plant species Carica papaya, one of the 21 accepted species in the genus Carica of the family Caricaceae. It was first domesticated in Mesoamerica, within modern-day southern Mexico and Central America. It is grown in several countries in regions with a tropical climate. Papaya has many benefits, including protection against heart disease, reduced inflammation, aid in digestion, and boosting your immune system. There are also benefits to eating papaya seeds.”
“Eating papaya every morning can be very beneficial for your health as well as skin. It is rich in Vitamin C, which helps in repairing skin cells. At the same time, the antioxidants present in it help protect the skin from free radical damage. It detoxes the body, thereby reducing skin problems. Since papaya is high in fiber and low in sugar (8.3 gm in a cup of sliced papaya), it is considered a healthy food for diabetics. Surprisingly, this green-orange fruit contains many health benefits when eating papaya every day.”
Today, I am adding papaya which I google is indeed a healthy fruit. Now I know why my dad and me looks young despite our old age. I am going to be eating more papaya. Hope that papaya will be on sale more frequently. I am enjoying my smoothie in moderation, and added a great combination of healthy fruits and it taste delicious and satisfying filled me up. Enjoy in moderation!!!
Ingredients

Method
In Nutri Bullet, add apple bite size pieces, mango cubes, papaya cubes, yoghurt, and water. Blitz until puree. This time, I chill in fridge for 1 hour. Mango can be quite thickened when puree.
