We have been having a few extreme heat weathers and I don’t like wasting food. I got some leftovers cherries, blueberries and strawberries, I decided to try make a drink with raspberry fizzy cordial. I am glad that my dad gave me some cherries that his friend gave him. Let’s combined them to make something new. Here’s my creation float.
Google: “Floats were a beverage line introduced by the Dr Pepper Snapple in January 2008. Two flavours were available, A&W Float and Sunkist Float. The purpose of the concept was to mimic the flavour of an ice cream float of a given soda. Thus, the A&W flavour was intended to taste like a root beer float, while the latter is comparable to an orange creamsicle or Sunkist float. The drinks were creamy in nature and contained little carbonation, and no caffeine. Ingredients included skim milk, cream, and nitrous oxide to create foam. While it was recommended that they be served chilled, refrigeration of Floats is not mandatory.”
Here’s my creation of a twist to the real float. I am happy that it turns out bubbly foam and indeed a good flavour and enjoyable to drink in hot weather. Let’s make it!!!
Ingredients
8 cherries, pitted, cut away stems and cut the flesh
6 strawberries, stem removed, cut into half
4 cherries tomatoes, cut into half
25 g blueberries
water, enough for puree
raspberry fizzy cordial
Method
Place half cherries, strawberries, blueberries and tomato into Nutri Bullet. Blitz until it becomes puree. Repeat with the remaining until it becomes puree. Pour halfway into the glasses and then fill up with raspberry fizzy. Stir to mix well.
The fill more of the puree and finished with raspberry fizzy, leaving enough space for refill raspberry fizzy. Chilled for about 5 minutes. Then before serving pour a bit more raspberry fizzy and enjoy!!!
