Bought bow pasta (Farfalle), a tub of semi-dried tomatoes, and rocket on sale. I forgot to get pasta sauce and minced beef. I have to change it to using garlic butter sauce. Next time, I must write down all the groceries that I needed to get. Getting too old to remember 100 things all at one time.
Google: “The word farfalle means butterflies in Italian and is commonly referred to as bow tie pasta because of its shape. To make farfalle, simply cut fresh pasta into small rectangles and pinch the centers together to form the unique shape. Farfalle come in several sizes, but they all have a distinctive “bow tie” shape. Usually, the farfalle are formed from a rectangle or oval of pasta, with two of the sides trimmed to a ruffled edge and the center pinched together to make the unusual shape of the pasta. A ridged version of the pasta is known as farfalle rigate.” Here in OZ country, it is called bow tie pasta; in other countries they are called farfalle.
