Penang white curry mee soup with tofu pok and pork ball

Winter cooking is all about warming up meal that brings Joy and Cozy for we don’t want to be out there in the freezing chill day. It’s great to have freezer, packets, dried, canned and bottle food. Let’s experiment with flavour fusion ingredients.

Google: “Penang White Curry Noodles is a tantalizing Malaysian dish that originates from Penang. The essence of the dish with creamy and fragrant coconut-based broth, infused with secret aromatic chili paste, perfectly complementing the yellow noodles, bean sprouts, prawns, and chicken slices. Popularised in the early days by the Perankan, of Cantonese origin, it’s created with fresh spices; lengkuas, kefir lime, lemon grass, ginger, kesom, nutmeg, and with a sachet of non dairy creamer which is reminiscent of the street curry noodle only Penang can offer.”

Today, my quick easy flavour fusion ingredients are tofu pok and pork balls and using microwave. It’s reality in a bowl, without the trip to Penang. From the Penang white curry mee soup rich curry soup, tender mee, tofu pok and pork ball brings the memoirs of street food in Penang. My lunch is hot spicy, comfort and delicious to make at home.
