Pan mee broccoli mushroom black sesame seeds soup

I bought instant pan mee soup to use with my slightly bad sliced mushrooms and yellowing broccoli. I don’t like wasting food, and I added black sesame seeds. My quick meal is still good to eat.

“Broccoli is a nutritious green vegetable rich in vitamins C and K, fiber, and antioxidants such as sulforaphane. It supports heart and bone health, aids digestion, boosts immunity, and may lower the risk of certain cancers and eye issues. Antioxidants and fiber contribute to lower cholesterol and reduced inflammation, while vitamin K aids bone strength and vitamin C promotes immune health. Moreover, sulforaphane may prevent cancer by neutralizing harmful substances and protecting cells, and its antioxidants may help safeguard against age-related eye diseases.”

“White sliced mushrooms are a low-calorie, nutrient-rich food that support gut health, lower cholesterol, and provide essential vitamins like B vitamins and Vitamin D. They contain antioxidants, protein, and minerals such as potassium and selenium, making them a versatile ingredient. Rich in B vitamins, they contribute to energy and cell health and can be an excellent source of vitamin D when exposed to UV light. Additionally, they contain minerals that support bodily functions and chitin fiber, which helps maintain a healthy gut microbiome.”

“Black sesame seeds from the Sesamum indicum plant are rich in protein, healthy fats, vitamins, and minerals, offering health benefits such as improved heart and bone health, better digestion, and healthier hair and skin. Their high polyunsaturated fats, antioxidants, and lignans can lower bad cholesterol and reduce heart disease risk. They support strong bones, prevent osteoporosis, and promote regular bowel movements. Black sesame seeds also nourish the skin and hair, thanks to their antioxidants, zinc, iron, and selenium. Additionally, they provide protein and B vitamins that can boost energy levels.”

Here’s my meal of not wasted food. Thanks God, it is edible still to eat and enjoyable, healthy, and yummy. Let’s cook!!!

Ingredients

1 packet instant pan mee soup
leftover sliced mushrooms
leftover broccoli
black sesame seeds
hot boiling water

Method

Put kettle on. Open the pan mee packet and condiments that come with it. Put broccoli and sliced mushrooms in to a bowl with a plate at the bottom; just for easy to carry out of microwave when it’s hot.

When water is boiled, pour into the bowl with broccoli and sliced mushrooms. Microwave it for 3-4 minutes. Then remove from microwave and put pan mee and condiments in, gives a couple of stirs. Next put the bowl with plate at the bottom back into microwave.

Microwave it for a further 5-7 minutes, until pan mee is softened. When it had softened and cooked. Bring out from microwave and garnish with black sesame seeds. Enjoy with a cup of tea!!!
