Felt like having salad today. Went to supermarket with intention of just buying mixed salad ended buying tomatoes and Thai styles dressing. This my quick and lazy meal as well as when I don’t feel very hungry and tired of cooking.
Having salad is healthy as some days we seldom have salad in our diet. Nowadays, supermarket have everything ready made all we have to do is heat up or eating straight from the canned by just warming up in microwave. Well, my salad is healthy, colourful and comforting. Let’s eat salad!!!
2 packets mix salad, washed
4 medium tomatoes, sliced
A handful of dried cranberries
4 Tbs Thai styles dressing (bought)
1 Tbs sweet chili sauce
1/4 Tbs plum sauce
a pinch of salt and pepper
Place salads in a salad bowl, add tomatoes followed by cranberries. Then mix all the sauces and season with salt and pepper in a bottle with lid and shake well. Pour over the salad. Enjoy!!!!!
Note: You can serve it with roasted chicken or Lamb or beef. I prefer to eat it on its own. Its healthier.
