Angel hair prawns and leek pasta

Angel hair pasta is quick to cook, if you are hungry, this angel hair pasta with prawns and leek is the one that you will be cooking. You just got to buy ready peel prawns and leek. Main thing is put kettle on. Cut up leek. Then peel prawns, remove the dirt and keep the heads in a container for next time.

Be organise if you are trying to save time. Once finished with peeling prawns and after wash hands, heat the wok. By then kettle is ready, pour into pot add salt and angel hair to cook. Then you just need to cook leek and prawns. My meal is beautiful, delicious and satisfying my soul. Let’s cook!!!


300 g angel hair pasta
1 Tbs olive oil
1 leek, cut into bitesize lengthwise
2 stalks, spring onion, cut into bitesize
400 g peeled medium-size raw prawns
1/4 cup white wine
1/8 teaspoon pepper
chili flakes


Cook pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water until tender. Drain pasta, reserving 1/4 cup of the pasta cooking water.

Meantime pasta is cooking, pour oil into large wok. Heat over medium heat. Add leek and cook for about 4-5 minutes or until turning translucent. Add prawns to wok. Cook for about 2-3 minutes each side until shrimp turn pink.

Add wine to wok and scrape up any browned bits. Add 2 Tbs reserved pasta liquid to make a slightly thickened sauce. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in pasta and heat through. If mixture is dry, add remaining pasta water. Spoon to serving pasta bowl add spring onion and chili flakes. Serve with a glass of sweet white wine.
