Savoury yogurt loaf

Here’s another recreated recipe from http://www.easyo.com. The linked is at the bottom. I use diced bacon, parsley, spring onion, milk and natural yoghurt. In addition, I have added 65 ml olive oil.

The oil is to gives it extra moist combined with yoghurt. Yes, I have put grated cheese in it. It’s kind of savoury loaf that you can use things from the pantry and fridge.

This savoury loaf is beautiful, moist and have great combination of flavour. It’s sure is interesting to have this combination, but the taste is delicious. Let bake!!!

3/4 cup milk (184 g)
3/4 cup (188 g) Natural Yogurt
1/4 cup (65 g) oil
1 egg, lightly beaten

Method

Sift flour and baking powder and stir in cheese, parsley, spring onion and bacon. Make a well in the centre and pour in the combined milk, yogurt, oil and egg. Stir to combine. Pour the mixture into a greased and lined loaf tin. Sprinkle over a little extra grated cheese and bake in preheated 190°C oven for approx. 40-50 minutes until golden brown, and a skewer comes out clean. Leave to cool.
